George Leung
Chief Executive Officer
Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce
Before joining the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC) in 2020, George S K Leung was advisor to the Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC). He was also a member of the bank’s Hong Kong Executive Committee and other senior management committees. Prior to this appointment in 2005, he was chief economist, Greater China region, a post he held since 2000. Mr Leung joined HSBC as senior economist in 1994 and was appointed head of the economic research department in 1996.
Before joining the HSBC, Mr Leung was CFO of a large manufacturing company and a senior policy officer in the Australian public sector for many years. He taught in several tertiary institutions as lecturer in economics after graduation.
With a long record of public service, Mr Leung is a renowned business economist and an influential public policy commentator in the region. He obtained his Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Toronto, Canada in 1984. He also holds a MBS degree from the University of Hong Kong.

Cheng Yan Chee

Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority
Cheng Yan Chee joined the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA) in April 2013 as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer and Executive Director. Cheng oversees the corporate and external affairs of the MPFA as well as services for MPF scheme members. He was appointed as Acting Managing Director of the MPFA with effect from 10 June 2021.
Cheng was a member of the Administrative Service of the HKSAR Government from 1986 to 2013, serving as Administrative Officer up to Deputy Secretary in various government bureaux and departments responsible for home affairs, financial services, trade and industry, education, information technology services, housing and social welfare.

Senna Cheung is a well-rounded HR leader with over two decades of experience in both the private and public sectors, including the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Securities and Futures Commission, AXA Insurance Group, and Towngas. Currently working as the Chief Consultant of Positive Motion Consulting, she provides various services to clients including coaching, training, HR projects, and consulting.
Cheung obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Hong Kong (major in english and minor in psychology) and an MBA degree from the University of Strathclyde. She is passionate about coaching, mentoring, and people development. As an accredited Associate Certified Coach of the International Coach Federation, she coaches in corporations, universities, and non-profit organisations. Cheung is also an accredited assessor of psychometric tests, including the Hogan assessment and Occupational Personality Questionnaire.
